Down by the Bay

It's Friday and boy, is it a warm one! Yup, the summer heat has officially arrived here in San Diego and I must say that I'm enjoying it very much [now that I live by the beach].
The other day my family and I went down to the bay to visit some relatives who were on vacation. Since all my uncles did a sail boat race, I decided to go along with the nautical theme and wear my striped tankdress from Madewell. I mean, you have to wear something stripey if you're gonna spend the day at the bay. Especially if sail boats are involved. It's a rule!

Denim button downs are perfect to throw on over tees and layer over summer dresses when the temp decides to drop. Like this denim boyshirt I'm wearing worked as a great wind breaker that day. It got chilly reaaaal fast.
